Lake Oconee’s Only “Boat-up” Restaurant Opens on May 12
One of everyone’s favorite things about Harbor Club on Lake Oconee is the Boathouse Marina and Restaurant. The full-service marina has everything a boater would need, including winter storage facilities, a general store, and fuel.
But now that winter is over; it’s time to get the boat back out on the water, gassed up and ready to go. And it’s time to fuel you up too! We are excited to announce that our beautiful, lakeside restaurant is opening back up on Saturday, May 12 — and that we’ve got great new things in store for you this summer.
If you haven’t already heard the news, we have a new, highly-talented chef at the helm of the Boathouse Restaurant. Adam Smith has a tremendous amount of experience, not to mention an excellent palate. He’s adding exciting new things to the menu this season. While you’ll see some of your favorite, familiar dishes, you’ll also see additional items that have a Georgia coast/Key West vibe, such as Adam’s famous fish tacos. Much like Harbor Club itself, Adam intends to cater to a wider variety of tastes, as you’ll see some delicious vegetarian options and a yummy kid’s menu too. And if you’re planning a day on the lake, Adam is enthusiastic about offering convenient grab-and-go lunches for you to enjoy while you’re out on the water.
Better yet, and whether you’re a boater or not, everyone is invited to enjoy our free summer concert series at the Boathouse. We’ve got a fantastic line-up of entertainment scheduled so far this season, including:
Sunday, May 27 – Carey Station Road Band featuring lead singer, Princess
Saturday, June 2 – Fall Line Ramblers Band
