Those that enjoy Masters Week in and around the Augusta, Georgia area know how incredible the event is for visiting golfers. The tournament represents an opportunity to play some memorable tracks, many designed by legendary Masters champions themselves. In fact, Harbor Club on Lake Oconee was designed by the late Tom Weiskopf (a four-time Masters runner-up himself) and Jay Morrish. Our award-winning championship course winds through wooded hillsides, skirts four creeks, and touches upon Lake Oconee six times.

Golfers are always looking for ways to improve their chipping. If you do an excellent job of fine-tuning your chip shots, you'll discover that it's easy to build your confidence and lower your score. A chip shot is a short game stroke where the ball carries into the air and then rolls an equal (or slightly longer) distance than it carries. A chip is known for having more ground time than air. It has minimal carry and more time bouncing and rolling on the green. A chip is a type of shot that typically occurs within a few yards of the green, requiring a smaller swing than a pitch shot.
