It’s almost summertime at Harbor Club, and being a member or resident here makes it easy to tone up and feel your best this season and beyond! From morning to night, there are so many fun activities to help you get (and stay) healthy and fit this summer at Harbor Club.

Morning activities

Various morning fitness classes are offered every day of the week at Harbor Club. Head to the Fitness Center at The Grove to enjoy Barre and Toning, Jazzercise, Yoga, Men’s Core for Golf, and more. Even if you don’t feel like taking a class, there are recumbent bikes, treadmills, PowerMill climbers, elliptical cross trainers, weight-training machines, and more top-notch workout equipment in the gym.

Walkers, joggers, and hikers have several options to enjoy at Harbor Club. One is a mile-long, manicured, and mulched hiking trail at The Grove. To add additional fitness benefits to your hike, use the Fit-Trail®, which includes 10 fitness stations for stretching, bending, and strength training. Also at The Grove is a quarter-mile track – offering the perfect, level surface for getting in that all-important, mood-boosting cardio. It’s also an ideal place to do sprints or intervals. 

Afternoon activities

Of course, our award-winning, Weiskopf-Morrish-designed golf course will surely delight anyone who loves to swing a club. Up your fitness game by walking our magnificent golf course–which has a varied terrain that skirts beautiful Lake Oconee nine times.

And if you prefer to stay cool while exercising, we have a crystal-clear, Junior-size Olympic pool, which is a fantastic place to do laps. Of course, all members of Harbor Club have access to Lake Oconee via The Boathouse Marina too, where you can enjoy a variety of fun water sports.

Evening activities

Our lighted tennis and pickleball courts provide plenty of ways to help you get your racket swinging. Aside from playing either game at your leisure, we offer scheduled clinics, group play, and tournaments so you can engage with others who match your level, from novice to experienced.

And if you love soccer, football, whiffle ball, Frisbee, or other sports that require a level, manicured, grassy field, our Sports Field at The Grove has you covered. It can be lit and offers a fun, safe place to engage in any field sports requiring wide open spaces.
